Taylor Container Forklift
Taylor Machine Works has been engineering, manufacturing, and marketing empty container handlers ever since 1967. The "Big Red" line of Taylors empty container handlers has all the experience and knowledge built in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are called the "All American" units as they are engineered and manufactured in the United States. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The company strives to maintain their devotion of designing and manufacturing the most reliable, most productive and best container handling machines around, anywhere within the globe.
The company's empty container handlers are outfitted with a wide assortment of masts and attachments so as to better suit your specific requirements. The following is a list of units with their standard attachment and mast.
To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment is able to expand. Any containers measuring over 40 feet should have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has electrical signal lights in the cab, 4 corner twist-locks, 2 work lights and hydraulic slewing.
The ELME attachment is designed to deal with 2 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time. This simultaneous ability can be done with the containers stacked on top of each other. Additionally, this type of attachment is available with 4 horizontal twist-locks which insert into the side apertures of the upper containers bottom corner castings as well as the lower container's top corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be accomplished.
Each and every model of the Taylor container forklifts utilizes a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air to air or charged air after-cooled diesel engine. Several of the standard engine features include transmission/engine protection, electronic maintenance and diagnostic monitor, reduced overall emissions, fuel/water separator and improved fuel economy. Moreover, the transmission available for all 3 units is a fully reversing, 3-speed, power-shift, non-modulated transmission. It is offered complete with remote shift control and inching capacity.
These models have been meticulously engineered to deal with the worst climate and the harshest atmosphere's that nature could throw at them. These units can function with ease through thick mud, deep snow and rough terrain. Having the ability to rely on a dependable machinery when you are working in lousy weather conditions and in the middle of nowhere is definitely an important investment for your company.
