Designed for Safety
Yale has a great history for providing safe lift trucks that are suitable for a range of uses. The ability to produce and design models for better safety comes from the new technology that is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
Yale likes to incorporate new technology which is available into their latest designs. Some of the new technologies which are available are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company conducts numerous reliability development and controlled field tests in order to ensure their products are really safe.
To be able to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed many new features, which have been incorporated on lots of models such as:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The operator compartment has been designed with ergonomics in mind, using state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions and exhaustion. These extra comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Having adjustable operator's compartment and controls allows the necessary controls to be able to be positioned in close proximity to a wide range of operators. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Prior to beginning their shift, the operator could make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system additionally disables directional travel on IC engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
