End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is a really flexible machinery and is common in the material handling industry. These machinery have great performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an ideal option for applications that require regular off and on access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading machine utilized by a variety of companies that maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
The basic reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also have a hydraulic setup that allows the driver to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without problems, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
