Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the cargo away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is required.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed particularly to hoist workers. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
