SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for more than twelve years within the United States market place. Different industries such as Scrap Handling, Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Bulk Transfer Facilities as well as many other material handling facilities are now utilizing our buckets and grabs to get their tasks done.
The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around providing grabs that deal with the biggest volume of material vs. grab dead weight. The typical handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is approximately 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means transporting more quantities of supplies faster. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components is less. Through a combination of manufacturing with high quality materials and innovative design, the required weight ratio is obtained.
Grab sizes would vary from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to meet the requirements of the customer. What's more, Peiner USA Inc. provides a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the units sold within the USA, along with the addition of brand new buckets and grabs.
